A shot I took at Sainte-Anne Cemetery in La Pocatière during the long Easter weekend. I have a thing for cemeteries and the dead. What you may find disturbing and want to avoid, I find it fascinating and can't wait to get there.

RIP Sony Cybershot

Well, after more than 1500 pics in the last 3 years, the inevitable has come. My little 'beast' is struggling so much that I've come to grips that it's probably time to let it die. It now refuses any kind of close-ups, blurriness is a constance and macro is definitely out of the question. Crap. Very bad timing. My birthday is only in 4 months before I can even fathom the idea of getting a new cam. Crap. What am I going to do? Summer's almost here with its festivals, shows, vacations...

That being said, someone I know on FB has offered me to help with the expenses of a new camera 0_o. I am rooting for a Nikon D-90 with all the fixins. His offer is more than generous but I feel bad accepting it. My husband asked my friend on FB to give him a call to discuss a possible arrangement. I've a friend who used to work at Dumoulin who'd be able to get me a decent Nikon kit for a good price... or so he says....

Meanwhile, you can bear witness to my cam's struggles in my latest uploads (Apple Tree & Cherry Tree in bloom). You might say the pictures look alright but *I* know they don't look good. *Sigh* My friend has offered I borrow his camera until I get the new one. I'm afraid I'm going to work it (or burn it) to a crisp. I suppose it's better than nothing.
